Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 May 2026
By using NTL Flow, you agree to the terms below. They're short, written in plain English, and exist so we can keep the service good for everyone who uses it. If anything is unclear, email info@ntlofnyc.com and we will explain it.
1. Who NTL Flow is for
NTL Flow ("the Service") is operated by NTL Flow, a small independent software team based in New York. The Service is intended for adults (18+) using it for lawful personal or business communication.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password and any connected email-account credentials safe.
- You may not share your account with another person or run automated bulk-mail through it.
- If we have reason to believe your account is compromised, we may temporarily disable it and contact you.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use NTL Flow to:
- Send unsolicited bulk mail (spam) of any kind.
- Send messages that are unlawful, defamatory, harassing, fraudulent, or designed to deceive recipients about their origin.
- Distribute malware, phishing pages, or other malicious content via Mail or Drive.
- Probe, scan, or stress-test the Service except as part of an authorised security disclosure.
- Attempt to access another user's workspace, mail, or files without authorisation.
- Use the optional AI rewrite feature to generate content that violates OpenAI's usage policies.
Violating these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account. For serious or repeated violations, we may also notify your email provider or, where required, law enforcement.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of everything you send, receive, upload, or store using NTL Flow. We claim no rights to your mail, files, contacts, or notes. We need a narrow technical licence to display your content back to you, store it on disk, and route mail on your behalf — nothing else.
5. Service availability
NTL Flow is provided on a best-effort basis. We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we do not offer a formal SLA during the current private-beta phase. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible.
6. Third-party services you may connect
- Your email provider — Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, etc. NTL Flow is a client; their terms apply to your mailbox.
- OpenAI — only if you opt in to AI rewrite with your own API key. OpenAI's terms apply to those calls.
- SMTP2GO — only if outbound relay is enabled for a custom-domain account. SMTP2GO's terms apply to relayed messages.
We are not responsible for the conduct, uptime, or policies of third-party providers you connect.
7. Fees and the private-beta period
NTL Flow is currently free to use during the invite-only private-beta period. We will give existing users at least 30 days' notice before introducing any paid plan, and any paid plan that is introduced will be optional — there will continue to be a way to export your data and leave at no cost.
8. Termination
You may stop using NTL Flow at any time and request account deletion via info@ntlofnyc.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate the acceptable-use rules in section 3, or if continued service would be unlawful. Where possible we will give you notice and a chance to export your data first.
9. No warranty
NTL Flow is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure against every conceivable threat, or that any defect will be corrected within a particular window.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NTL Flow and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total cumulative liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) USD 100.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in New York County, New York are the exclusive venue for any dispute arising under these terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where you have an active account, notify you in-app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use NTL Flow after the change means you accept the updated terms.
